The Rikon 14" Professional Bandsaw offers a generous 14-1/4" of re-saw capacity for slicing veneers, book-matched projects, and lumber sizing. The work surface is a spacious 19" x 21" cast iron top that can tilt a full 45 deg to the right thanks to the solid cast iron trunnion. The wheels are also balanced cast iron. This Professional Rikon Bandsaw features a quick-release blade tensioning level for changing the blades or to extend the life of the blade when the machine is off. There is also a window that allows the user to check blade tension without opening the door. The hinged blade guard has a window as well, allowing the user to have easy blade access. Power comes from a robust 3 HP 220v, 60hz motor.

The Rikon Professional bandsaw uses four edge-facing thrust guide bearings instead of traditional guide blocks found on inferior quality machines. Thrust bearings extend the life of your blade and increase the quality of the cut by providing more stability as compared to guide blocks.
