In 2020, Azerbaijan launched an offensive to retake Nagorno-Karabakh.

The war went very well for Azerbaijan, mainly thanks to Turkish drones that left Armenia almost defenseless. In the end, Armenia had to agree to a ceasefire and accept Azerbaijan's terms, which included giving up large parts of the territory.
