Squadron Marching: Basics

This video will help to understand the basics of squadron marching procedures. Topics include formation etiquette, reporting accountability, commanding, and preparing to march.

ATTENTION: The procedures shown in this video are meant to directly mirror the approach taken for squadron marching within the AFROTC community and Field Training.

One common point of confusion is whether the squadron commander will be 9 or 12 paces from the flight when falling in. However, in reality, there will be many situations that preclude you from taking place at either of these distances in certain settings.
