Traditional Finnish Christmas BUFFET at IKEA?! | IKEA Christmas Buffet in Finland

Greetings from Finland!

Often times when I mention that I’ve moved to Finland, one of the commonly asked questions is what do they eat? Well, here is what they eat during Christmas time. The Finns like this so much that IKEA offers a buffet during the Christmas season. For IKEA family members, this is priced at 14,99 euros for adults, and 6,49 for kids under 12, regular price is 2 euros more if you’re not a member. Not too bad since tax is already included in everything you buy here.

If you’re wondering what that empty bin was at the beginning of the buffet table, it was a traditional creamy mushroom salad called Sienisalaatti. They never refilled it so we didn’t get to try it on camera!
