Our farmhouse kitchen renovation continues as we restore the original wooden beams of our Catalan Jack Arch vaulted ceiling. Weeks of hard work has gone into the restoration of the wooden ceiling beams. Hours of dusty sanding, multiple tools, and stripping back old wooden beams to remove years of old varnish and paint.

The beams in our kitchen renovation are looking so beautiful now; you can see the original grain again and the room is so much lighter than it was before. They still need to be treated and oiled, but we can't believe how nicely they've come up after stripping back the old wooden beams. What do you think?

At the land we've been getting going on the biggest job of the season (possibly even the year...) tree pruning. Thanks to the help from our new Bluetti power station, we've got a new electric chipper that we can move around the land more easily and access more areas up and down the bancals.
