Car Repair - Jeep Liberty 2008 - EVAP Purge Tube Leak Repair

I had code P 0456 emissions minor leak error code in my Jeep Liberty 2008 Limited. It results in a check engine light which prevents the remote start from working. I've found videos on detecting and troubleshooting this problem but nothing on finding the part number and purchasing the part and then replacing it. So, that's what this video is about.

After finding the split in the EVAP Tube that runs from the firewall to the purge solenoid, I went to the auto parts store looking to purchase a new tube. They couldn't find it. They directed me to the dealership. I called the dealership. They "couldn't find the part number" either. We got disconnected (when the dealership hung up on me). I went online and scoured schematics until I found the part number myself. I ordered the part on Amazon, received it, then installed it.

My Jeep no longer has an EVAP error.
