While the Pensacola is still not a cruiser I would recommend for ranked, it's not as bad this season as the last time ranked was T7. The reason for this is the overabundance of smoke cruisers populating ranked right now, allowing the Pensacola to mitigate its greatest weakness, the squishiness, by just sitting in friendly smokes most of the game. Add in the fighter plane that now has become a rarity since everyone runs radars and smokes, and it's not quite as terrible as one would first assume. As usual my recommended build is at the end.
