This is a video I shot back on July 13th, 2024 of the daily NBSR mixed manifest /intermodal train 121 heading Westbound to Brownville Maine to interchange with CPKC.
On this day, we see mostly intermodal consist of train and a few autoracks on the rear, which was a nice change, as often times the intermodal is bracketed with mixed freight and woodchip empties. With only two units, it was a hard climb up this grade as the train maintains track speed towards Welsford, at mile 20 of the NBSR McAdam Subdivision. NBSR SD70M-2's 6414 (leader) and 6405 power 138 cars (129 wells) and a friendly crew on board!
