After months of looking for a pannier guard for my top box, I decided to give Tech-Spec a call and requested a special order. I was offered this product and was informed that they didn’t have the item posted on their website, but it was available as a special order. It cost me about $89. Quite pricy for a rubber mat, but worth the investment. It’ll protect the top box from scratches from friction and assist in holding items in place when loaded on top of your pannier. Wanted to share this because It solved my problem. I wanted all my panniers to match and also keep them in pristine condition. I had already installed two other side pannier guards so I wanted them all to match.
