At just 25 years old, Lucas Zach has built this sharp custom 2017 Peterbilt 389 paired with a matching 2025 Timpte hopper. After working for his dad's company when he was younger, Zach started his own hauling business with authority, Little Z Transport. He still hauls for the elder Tim Zach Trucking a good bit, though, with local and regional farm deliveries among other freight. He bought the truck a couple of years ago as a mostly stock 389, then gradually transformed it with custom touches. When he added the hopper to his operation, he had it painted and wrapped to match the truck’s silver-and-blue scheme, tying the whole combination together. The interior was fully redone with black and blue button-tuck panels from Spare Time Fab, along with upgraded Infinity speakers and a pair of 12-inch subs under the bunk for surround.

Originally, the truck had a factory ISX Cummins, but now the 389 features an older-model 3406e Caterpillar. The result is a well-balanced custom Pete that ties together sharp paint, a Cat under the hood, and a functional hopper-hauling setup built to handle the dirtier side of farm work while still turning heads on the road.
