The EEIDI FX Dreivoost is an all-tube boost running at 300vDC using a standard 9vDC center negative power supply. It has one standard gain stage plus a cathode follower for clean, low-impedance buffered output. You can think of it as a tube version of what people use a Tube Screamer for with high-gain amps. It can also be used to warm up your tone going into a DAW or solid-state amp.
