🌅 Trio travel to Lisboa & balancing a full semester's workload | study abroad diaries 8

At some point Kat told me a round trip to Lisbon was 70€ and that's all it took to get me on board. And so for 3.5 days, Kat, Char, and I have adventures in Portugal :)

Unfortunately I miscalculated how long it would take me to write a 5-6 pg research paper in French, so it was a struggle bus up till the bitter end. In English I'd budget out 4-6 hrs at most for the same type of paper, but here I was spending 24 hours (plus a little extra tbh) on this gd research paper :^) The reality of study abroad is that you try and cram in all this extra travel because you're here and you might as well, but you've also got a full course load to manage. So that's how Kat and I both ended up having to write papers during our trip in Lisboa 😅

❓What are the study abroad diaries about? TLDR I studied abroad last Fall (2022) with the USC Paris Program and now I'm reflecting back on last semester from home in the US, several months later.

Fun facts section
I didn't realize until after using the song that "Flappie" is an iconic Dutch Christmas song about a boy getting angry with his dad for cooking his pet rabbit 😳 If any Dutch folks come across this video I wonder what they'll think 😅
