About this video: The CurseForge app makes modding everything from Minecraft and Hytale to World of Warcraft and Ark extremely easy. This video shows you how to install CurseForge to use it with any of these games.

First off, you will need to download the CurseForge Installer. There is a link in the description above to our complete text guide on CurseForge. Click the “Download” button on that page to go to the official download page. Then, click on the “Download Standalone” button and the installer will download automatically.

You can open the Installer just like any other app. Click “Next” a few times and click “Install” CurseForge. You’ll also need to agree to the terms of service.

After it is finished, make sure to “No Thanks” the last step, and CurseForge will open. Most games like World of Warcraft or Sims 4 should be recognized automatically. However, in order to use CurseForge with Minecraft mods, you will need to click on it and configure Minecraft. This is really easy, but you will need to login to your Minecraft account.

With that, you can then create mod sets and add mods to them. You can also search for and find Minecraft modpacks at the top of CurseForge and click to install them.

For other games, you can browse for and add mods super easily. Then, click the “Play” button in the top right of CurseForge to play the game with the mods you installed.
