But even with tons of money and a celebrity passport, some stars are persona non grata in certain corners of the world. We’ve compiled a list of 15 celebs who have been banned from other countries.

Certain stars have been barred from entering a country because of something as seemingly random as posing for a picture with the Dalai Lama or wearing a sunflower dress at a concert. Selena Gomez and Katy Perry could never have guessed that those decisions would get them banned from China! Others are more obvious. Chris Brown, Paris Hilton, and Snoop Dogg’s past troubles with the law prevented them from visiting certain nations. And Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Gigi Hadid managed to offend all of China with their bad behavior!

Sometimes it’s not about what a celebrity has done; it’s more to do with the country’s cultural differences. Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Kesha all had their concerts cancelled because their performances and attire were deemed too edgy for more religious countries like Malaysia and Indonesia. For The Beatles, a simple case of bad manners got them banned from The Philippines.
