Stuffed Aloo Cheese Paratha with Garlic Butter
Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

For Dough:
• 2 cups wheat flour (atta)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tbsp oil
• Water (as needed) to knead
• Ghee or oil (for roasting)

For Aloo-Cheese Stuffing:
• 3 medium boiled potatoes (mashed)
• 1/2 cup grated processed cheese or mozzarella
• 1 chopped green chilli
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp amchur (dry mango powder)
• 1/2 tsp garam masala
• 2 tbsp chopped coriander
• Salt to taste

For Garlic Butter:
• 2 tbsp butter
• 3–4 garlic cloves (finely grated or crushed) and seasonings
• 1 tsp chopped coriander (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare Dough:
• Mix atta, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead to make a soft dough.
• Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 15–20 mins.

2. Make Stuffing:
• In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, grated cheese, chopped green chilli, and spices.
• Mix well till everything is evenly blended.

3. Roll and Stuff:
• Take a small ball of dough. Roll it into a small disc.
• Place 2–3 tbsp of stuffing in the center.
• Seal the edges and flatten gently.
• Roll again into a paratha (not too thin).

4. Roast Paratha:
• Heat a tawa. Cook paratha on both sides until golden spots appear.
• Apply ghee or oil while roasting for a crisp texture.

5. Make Garlic Butter:
• In a small pan, melt butter. Add crushed garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (don’t burn it).
• Add chopped coriander. Mix and turn off the heat.

6. Final Touch:
• Brush the hot paratha with garlic butter right after removing from tawa.
• Serve hot with curd, pickle, or chutney.

Tips:
• Don’t overfill stuffing; cheese may ooze out while roasting.
• Use mozzarella for more cheese pull.
• Add chili flakes for an extra punch.
