The "Accidents Happen" video, part of the Children's Defense Fund's Health Coverage for All Children campaign , reminds us that only two years ago many more children were denied access to health coverage just because their parents could not afford high insurance premiums. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, signed into law by the President in 2010, provides access to health coverage to 95 percent of the children in America.
