Описание к видео Pod Talk Ep. 4 | Is THIS the Antidote to Male Loneliness?

In this episode of Pod Talk, Henry sits down with Mark Greene and Mark Wiedmann, co-founders of Walking Talking Men—a grassroots initiative based on a simple but powerful idea: men meeting up to walk and talk. What began as a weekly stroll through Central Park has grown into a welcoming space for men to connect, share, and build community without judgment or pretense.
Together, they discuss the inspiration behind Walking Talking Men, the challenges men face in forming close friendships, and the mental and physical toll of isolation. They explore how masculinity shapes men’s ability to be vulnerable—and how reclaiming connection can be an act of healing.
This episode is an invitation: to join the walk, start your own, and rethink what it means for men to show up for each other.
Mark Greene is the co-founder of WalkingTalkingMen.org, empowering men to create real, lasting, local friendships. He has spent twenty years writing and speaking about the epidemic of isolation created by our dominance-based Man Box culture of masculinity. Mark is the author of The Little #MeToo Book for Men and Remaking Manhood, and co-author, along with Dr. Saliha Bava, of The Relational Book for Parenting.
Mark Wiedmann is the other co-founder of WalkingTalkingMen.org. A lifelong software engineer and father of two children, he gained an interest in wellness as he helped his wife with her business Wonder Crate Kids which inspires children with a monthly subscription box. From there, he has continued his personal growth journey by incorporating meditation, Buddhism, marathon running, and now making better connections with friends.
This episode is an invitation: to join the walk, start your own, and rethink what it means for men to show up for each other.
