Judy Simpson hosted Across the Fence from 2003 until 2018. She was a legend of local television news. She was a member of the Vermont Broadcasters Hall of Fame and recognized for her journalistic acumen many times over the years. She passed away in 2024 after a long battle with cancer. This program re-airs portions of a 2019 program when she publicly announced she was stepping down from hosting Across the Fence.
