Hello I’m Christine Hourd, Calgary realtor with Royal Lepage Benchmark and I’m gonna talk to you with how to find a good realtor when moving to Calgary. If you’re moving to Calgary and planning on buying a home for sale here, finding a quality real estate agent is important.

Here are a few hints to finding a good one. Ask a realtor in your local area if they can refer one, Calgary. If you’re transferring for employment reasons, ask your future colleagues to recommend one especially those who have bought recently.

Another way is to go online and search for Calgary realtor, and for those who come up, look at their website and check client feedback for hints on what to expect from this realtor. Once you have 2 to 3 selected, contact each one to see if they can commit the time to help you find the good home. When you’re visit to Calgary is limited from a few days to a week, expect to look at many properties in the first two days. Your realtor needs to be committed to you for those crucial days. When working with a realtor from the distance, communication is important with the realtor and the buyer so keep in touch.
