How To Format Your Manuscript Using Lulu Publishing.

Here is where I document my self-publishing journey and where I hope I can help other future authors decide on their self-publishing journey as well.

In this video, this is part II of a III part series, I show you how to format your manuscript using the templates found on lulu publishing, how to change your document to PDF, and uploading your formatted manuscript to lulu.

How to get Lulu Templates
Step 1: Go to Lulu. Click on Create and select Print Books. Scroll down to Design Guide Bundle, and choose desired template.
Step 2: Unzip the file and copy and paste your manuscript into the template.

How to convert PDF to desired book trim
Step 1: Open Adobe Acrobat and upload PDF file
Step 2: Click on Printer File
Step 3: Change printer to Adobe Printer and then click on Properties
Step 4: Go to Adobe PDF Page Size and click on ADD.
Step 5: Change Paper Name and enter page trim desired, and click ADD\Modify
Step 6: Choose size in the Adobe PDF Page Size and click OK.
Step 7: Click Print and name your file.

How to upload to Lulu:
Step 1: Click Start Your Print Book
Step 2: Fill in Book Details
Step 3: Go into your Documents and upload your PDF file that you created in Adobe Acrobat.
