We all saw what happened in Texas when energy storage is not incorporated into the electrical power grid alongside renewable energies. The worst case scenario of power failure can be detrimental and lead to loss of life.

When renewable energies such as wind and solar begin to fail, the energy previously stored needs to kick in. Otherwise, we need to have a sufficient power supply from more traditional power generators such as fossil fuels and nuclear power.
