(27 Feb 2022) 'SQUID GAME' AND 'MORNING SHOW' CAST MEMBERS STUN ON SILVER CARPET
The stars are dressed to the nines for the 28th Screen Actors Guild Award being held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
The "Squid Game" cast posed together on the silver carpet. Lee jung-jae who is nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series, wore a suit complete with a bow tie.  Jung Hoyeon in a custom Louis Vuitton dress is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series. Kim Joo-ryeoung who also has a role on the show wore a colorful ombre Zimmerman dress. The dramatic series follows cash-strapped contestants competing for high-stakes prizes. It is nominated for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.
Going up against "Squid Game" in the same category is  Apple TV + series, "The Morning Show." The series takes a candid look at the production behind a morning news show.  Actor Janina Gavankar of "The  Morning Show" wore a vibrant yellow Georges Chakra gown paired with Sarah Flint shoes and Lisa Nik jewelry. Ruairi O'Connor wore a Zegna suit and Girard Perregaux watch accompanied by his "Spanish Princess" co-star and real life partner, Charlotte Hope, who wore a peach gown.
"Squid Game" took home the first award of the night for outstanding action performance by a stunt ensemble in a comedy or drama television series.
