In this short tutorial series, I will be going over setting up simple mechanics to help with starting your third person platformer project.

I am a qualified teacher in games development, with a first-class degree in games design. The purpose of my videos is to deliver information in a clear way that explains the reasoning behind certain design choices and what each tool does, rather than just quickly going through the process and missing important context which will help you retain the knowledge. These videos are primarily for my students, however these are public as everyone deserves to have good quality tutorials.

Generally there may be "better" and more optimised ways to complete the things covered in my tutorials, however the intention of my videos to have basic and easy to understand introductions to the systems, rather than the pure most-optimised ways.
