HOW IT CAME ABOUT: In 2008 Chris Paris, the writer, set out to film a small project that he wrote to gain experience and knowledge while using his new camera equipment. After shooting for one evening, overnight in the dark, with Lenny Hernandez as Daniel, he scrapped the footage and idea of PARADISO.

13 years later, during the worldwide shutdown due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Lenny re-came across the script of PARADISO while clearing out old emails. After reading it again, he fell in love with the foundation of the story and wanted to fully produce the short himself. With a few tweaks and modifications Lenny acquired a group of amazing filmmakers to make this a reality. Filming this "mini movie" truly was an remarkable experience.

RECEPTION: Paradiso made its Film Festival debut in October 2023 at the ‪@shutterspeedfilmfestival3690‬ in Dallas Texas where it was highly received, being nominated for 3 awards (BEST Director, BEST Actor, & BEST Actress) coming away with 2 wins in the Acting Categories.

Over its 12 month long festival run into fall of 2024, the reception to our "mini movie" has completely blown us away. PARADISO was accepted into a staggering 43% of the film festivals it was submitted into on FilmFreeway (the international film festival submission site) with 25 total OFFICIAL SELECTIONS! From those official selections we had over 20 total award nominations with several resulting in WINS.
