PILTON & PENNARD HILL 🚩 Ultimate guide to WALKING Somerset Trig Points #30 & #31

Arriving a month late for the Glastonbury Festival, which is not actually in Glastonbury, I find myself 6 miles away in Pilton , where the Glastonbury Festival is actually held. Yes, it's confusing isn't it! to confuse things even more I decided on the day to add another trig point to this walk, taking in Pennard Hill on an epic 12 mile circular. Following a walk around the empty festival site and taking on some local cheese for sustenance, I eventually find the first trig point with no Fosse.. Finally the walk takes us to Pilton, where low on water and probably suffering from dehydration, I eventually find the hardest trig point to date on this journey so far. Fortunately, it's a trig stone's throw away to the pub, where they serve a rehydrating 96% water/beer combo to refresh!
