This device consists of three boards: Power supply, sidplayer and clock. The clock circuit is built around an ATmega32 MCU and is in charge of decoding the DCF-77 signals, displaying the time, processing user input and sending start/stop commands via SPI to the siplayer board. The sidplayer (also) has an ATmega32, 64kiB RAM, some audio circuits and of course an original MOS SID. The power supply is trivial. Software is written in C and emulates a C64 environment in realtime. SID commands are caught and sent to the hardware SID.
