Choo Choo to Isabel Trail parkrun tourism adventure

I was joined by Ewan rather than Iona this week for our parkrun tourism adventure and we visited Isabel Trail parkrun in Stafford. We used trains to get there and the route itself is an old train track. It's been great to see more parkrun tourists over the last few weeks joining the fun that we have in using trains and bikes to get to parkruns, it takes a bit more planning but it's good for the environment and adds to the adventure! We met two parkrunners this morning who had travelled from Liverpool, their first ever parkun tourism by train, we had met before when we'd been at the ‪@WithMeNow‬ Pow Wow at Oaklands, so it was good to catch up.

Isabel Trail parkrun is a flat out and back course, definte PB potential, though Ewan and I are both to out of shape for that at the moment, but it's Iona's overall PB course from pre-pandemic!
