What do you do when you can't seem to feel a sense of God's presence? This week, John Crowder addresses this very common question. He says that looking for problems or reasons why I "can't" experience God's presence is the wrong approach (it is problem oriented, rather than answer oriented). Instead of depending on negative or hopeless feelings, instead we should rest in the objective reality of the truth of our union with God - even if we don't first have a subjective, emotional feeling of it.

Furthermore, John explains how "dry times" are still a time to be faithful to God, even when we don't feel like it. Nevertheless, we never need to "expect" dryness - nor abandon our trust in God if our emotions go wobbly.
