Bioinformatics: Academia Vs Industry

In this video I compare working in a bioinformatics role in Academia vs in Industry. For reference, I have done both!

After reviewing the video, I wanted to retract one point that I made. In the video, I mentioned that you learn more in industry compared to academia. However, I realized that this is not a general statement I can make, but rather my personal experience. As I am fairly new to industry, I am still in the learning curve phase and therefore, my perception may be biased. So please ignore that part. Also I say industry bioinformatics scientist salaries are ~35% higher than academic postdoc salaries when I meant to say ~55%.
