Kiesel Guitars Neck Strength Test video showing the new Carbon Fiber Rods

This strength test will show you the difference these New High Modulus Carbon Fiber Rods make. As of May 15th 2015 Every Single Kiesel and Carvin neck both Guitar and Bass (including part necks) have these Dual Rods Standard. Owners Mark and Jeff Kiesel decided they did not want to make any necks without them.

Both necks in test video are single piece Hard Rock Maple.

Neck without the Carbon Rods tested at 192 pounds of force to move 1/4"

Neck with the Carbon Rods tested at 326 pounds of force to move 1/4" This is a 69.8% increase in strength.

These neck will also handle weather changes much better and will require less truss rod adjustment. Our high strength truss rod makes our necks fully adjustable while further adding to the strength of our necks.
