Hey guys,
Here's my candid review on what to expect when you visit Masai Mara Kenya. I have stayed for 3 Nights in Masai Mara and technically the first night you will just reach the hotel and if you have registered for a Hot Airbaloon ride in Masai Mara Kenya, you have to get ready by 4;30 am and it takes about an hour to reach the take off site, whilst the sunrise is so magical in Masai mara but we were disappointed to see very few animals given the amount we paid for this ride. Also, the Baloon did not take us through the mara river too. If you carry a binoculars, may be you will have a better chances of spotting animals. The breakfast was very delicious and its a good spread. We have continued the game drive after the Baloon ride, but in general, post the ride, you will be dropped back to hotel and which is again a hour drive and you might miss out on the early morning game drive option, hence I strongly recommend you to keep the Hot airballon ride on the a different day to get the full day of game drive experience and also early morning game drive have better chances of spotting animals.

I would also recommend you to stay inside the Masai Mara park instead of outside to get better glimpse of sunsets and also see some herbivores animals around your hotel.
