DIY HDTV BowTie Antenna

How to make an inexpensive High Definition TV Antenna that will get reception from 50-75 miles away.

PARTS LIST
8 - 18" pieces of galvanized wire (12-14ga) [Bowties/Whiskers]
2- 28" piece of galvanized wire (12-14ga) [Bowtie/Whisker connectors]
2- 4" pieces of 1/2" electrical conduit PVC [insulated stand-offs]
1- 4' of 1" EMT - Metal Electrical Conduit [mounting pole]
1- 28" piece of 24" width Cage Wire [reflector]
8- 1/4" x 1-1/4" Machine Screws (1/4" bolts will also work) [stand-off connectors]
16- 1/4" flat washers
8- 1/4" lock washers
NOTE: Do not let the screws come in contact with the reflector
]2- 1/4" x 1/4" Machine Screws or bolts with nuts [transformer connection to bow ties}
4- 1" #8 Metal Screws
1- Matching Transformer 72ohm to 330ohm (75 to 300 will work)
