Since its establishment in the year 1995, the Department of Home Science has been a center of excellence for teaching- learning and quality research. The department offers B.Sc. (Honors) Home Science, B.Sc. Pass course with Clinical Dietetics and Food Science and Quality Management as electives at the undergraduate level and M.Sc. in Foods and Nutrition, Human Development and Clothing and Textiles at the post graduate level as well as PhD in all the three streams. The department also offers Career Oriented and Skill Development courses (COSD) in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (CND), Food Science and Quality Control (FSQ) and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) at three levels – Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
