Forgotten History and More in South Buffalo's D Yard

Описание к видео Forgotten History and More in South Buffalo's D Yard

It was another beautiful spring day in Western New York, with the sun shining and birds chirping, and the sights and sounds of EMDs filled the air as South Buffalo Railway crews worked D Yard in Lackawanna, NY! What isn't so beautiful, is the line of forgotten historic rolling stock that sits in an unused portion of the yard. This rolling stock, consisting of vintage passenger coaches and rare locomotives (a Niagara Junction electric GE E10B and the last surviving ex-New York Central Alco FA2), has sadly sat for years, exposed to the elements and subjected to vandalism, and have been rotting despite being owned by a local historical society.
