【一番の宝物 / Ichiban no Takaramono / My Most Precious Treasure - from Angel Beats!】 English cover

Here's my English translation for LiSA's version of this beautiful song titled, 一番の宝物 or Ichiban no Takaramono from Angel Beats! I actually recorded this back in March 2019, yet never had enough confidence to make it public 'til today.

Writing this translation, I wanted to do my best to keep it close to the original since the backstory behind it is so touching and this song definitely carries so much soul with it. I also tried to add a bit of my own interpretation, and I do hope I'm still able to deliver the essence of the song in some way!!

Angel Beats is definitely one of my top favorite anime shows. I haven't seen it in years but I absolutely remember being an absolute laughing and crying mess throughout. My favorite characters were definitely Iwasawa, Hinata, and TK!! LMAOO I can still vaguely remember the spicy noodles and examination scene. 😭💀
