Echo Park is located in the east-central region of Los Angles and is most famously known for being home to Dodger’s Stadium, Echo Park Lake and Elysian Park. We begin our drive around Echo Park on Sunset Blvd, one of the main streets in the neighborhood where you will find tons of trendy restaurants, coffee shops and local small businesses. From Sunset, we turn onto Bellevue Ave and make our way over to Echo Park Lake, a popular local spot where people come to hang out, workout, walk their dogs and rent the famous swan boats.

After circling Echo Park Lake we will explore a few neighborhoods in the area, notably Carroll Ave which is located in Angelino Heights. Carroll Ave has the largest concentration of Victorian houses and mansions in Los Angeles. It is a popular filming location as well.. you might even recognize the red house on the left from the TV show, Charmed.

After viewing some of the beautiful houses, we head over to Victor Heights and snake through the hilly streets, catching some incredible views of Downtown Los Angeles. From there, we will take the 110 freeway over to Elysian Park. While in the park we pass a few excellent lookout spots, a quintessential LA palm tree lined street and several views of Dodger’s Stadium. On our way out of Elysian Park, we will briefly hop on the 110 freeway again and exit Riverside Ave. From here, we weave through the windy streets of a few Echo Park neighborhoods. We then turn left onto Echo Park Ave where you will see some restaurants, bars and local businesses. We end our drive around Echo Park back on Sunset Blvd, as we head out of head out of this neighborhood and into Silver Lake.
