Infinite flight - Arturo Benitez (SCEL) -EROL1D arrival, 17L, ILS /VNAV, ATC (4) - event - highlight

Airbus A-350-900, LATAM (Chile division), Auckland to Santiago de Chile, 18.30 hours flight time.

Fascinating approach toward Santiago de Chile after traversing the pacific ocean, coming from Auckland (one of the longest non-stop flights IRL), I chose a very tricky arrival plan (EROL1D), direly overflying the airport, then sharp left turn, trying to avoid the mountains into 17L, "slam dunk" landing. Just as I was landing many planes were in the process of departing into my direction, At the time the airport was not staffed with departure ATC - , Approach ATC gave me different vectors, so I had to deviate from my flight plan - after that there were so many departures and I had to fly in a holding pattern for 20 minutes - so I only show the interesting parts of the stream / flight....
