Blocking Machinery With Their Bodies: Inside The Fight Against An Oil Pipeline

These Indigenous people are throwing themselves into the fight against the construction of an oil pipeline called Line 3, which spans from Canada to Wisconsin.

In Minnesota alone, the pipeline crosses over 200 bodies of water and threatens protected food sources for Indigenous people. Millions of gallons of oil have been spilled by Enbridge pipelines, including by the original Line 3.

Activists are calling on the Biden administration to take a stand for the environment and for Indigenous rights. They vow not to stop until the construction of the pipeline is canceled.
