Do you know the secret to Pappammal Rangammal's long life and beautiful hair? Well, she has been working from dawn to dusk for nearly a century, eats eats food off banana leaves and has hardly fallen sick. The 105-year-old from Thekkampatti in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu is among the 10 personalities who were bestowed with the Padma Shri award, the fourth highest civilian award in India, on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day.
