I was so wrong about crowded storm modes being bad all the time, and the science proves it!

One of the most exciting papers I read this last year was a paper by Dr. Cameron Nixon (you may have seen his vids on our channel) on storm mergers and tornadogenesis. While my general thesis and chase strategy of avoiding crowded storm modes is still a good one for a lot of reasons, it turns out that storms may need a little help from their friends to produce tornadoes. It's another small piece of the puzzle in why some storms produce tornadoes and others don't and this day in Texas shows why.
