Welcome back! Here is an Oak Walking Stick with a Celtic weave pattern. The oak was more difficult to carve due to it being a hard wood and it chipped a bit more but with some patience and careful planning, the carving came out looking great. The stick was stained dark with an oil based stain and finished with a paste wax. I really enjoyed this carving, never carved oak before but it came out looking fantastic, sharp lines and the grain pattern stands out with the stain. Overall a great walking stick.
