Interactive 3d models materials cameras in UE | How to change 3d models materials in Real Time | Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial

Create switchable 3d models & materials in unreal engine. Change the material on object, switch between multiple objects, create multiple camera views, create a material variants & add a blueprint to change their materials. Having multiple options are always useful to demonstrate the design to the client.

We will learn how to change the objects and materials interactively in unreal engine, also you will understand how to use the existing template to switch between materials, 3d objects and cameras.

Logic is simple, when you click on an object or mesh, the menu pops up with options to select. So basically, we will have these actions
Use the existing configurator template
Create new level
Import relevant geometries into the level
Create variant manager - objects
Create variant manager - materials
Create variant manager - camera
Add variant manager into the scene
Add existing template’s blueprint into the scene
