Invest Engine S&S ISA Portfolio Update October 2022

Although my main Financial Freedom Fund is with Vanguard, as a big fan of Passive Investing, Index and Exchange Traded Funds, I've decided to expand my horizons, lower fees and test drive Invest Engine as a platform.

In this video, I show you my quarterly portfolio update - what funds my Stocks and Shares ISA holds, how they have performed for the last three months and what my plans for this investment account are.

Long-term investing is very much a marathon. Trading is not necessary and so the focus is on the buy and hold strategy, consistent contributions, not reacting to the markets' volatility, staying the course.

I've already achieved Financial Independence (lean FIRE) so feel that I can take the foot off the gas. This is very much reflected in the size of my this tax year's ISA.

This is my first account with Invest Engine. Going forward, if the fee structure remains competitive (right now Invest Engine does NOT charge any platform fees) and the choice of funds meets my needs, I will be tempted to transfer my Vanguard investments to this provider.

My vision of Early Retirement, unlike my investment strategy, is very much active. This means I continuously enjoy working as a money coach and contract as a designer.
