E Lucevan le Stelle - Tosca

I was honored to have been given the opportunity to perform this legendary aria from the final act of Puccini’s ‘Tosca’. This was my first time learning and performing this aria and I hope to do it many more times in the future. Although my full encounter with Cavarodossi is still some time away, I hope you enjoy my first stab at the role!


As his hour of excecution looms, Cavarodossi looks up at the stars and recalls the memory of his love affair with Tosca. As a final act of freedom and defiance to Scarpia, Cavarodossi proclaims the truth of his passion, and discovers the meaning of his life through love and suffering.


Recorded at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee on May 5th, 2023 as part of the Opera studio scences workshop project.
