This is how Awesome Truth split up the first time. In October 2011, The Miz and R-Truth wanted to take out John Cena. John Laurinaitis came out and escorted them. Then Laurinaitis said Truth and Miz will face Cena and a partner of his choice at Survivor Series. Then Cena chose The Rock. Survivor Series arrived. The Rock hit Miz with a spinebuster and followed by the People’s Elbow to win the match. The next day on Raw, Cena instigated an argument between Truth and Miz, which actually led to it. Miz pushed Truth, who then punched him back. Miz convinced Truth that it’s Cena’s work but he hit him with the Skull Crushing Finale on the stage. Truth returned a month later, attacked Miz and took him out. A week later, Truth was stalking Miz. A week later, Miz wanted to hire Mason Ryan as his bodyguard. He also got refused by Primo and Epico. Then Miz threatened Ricardo Rodriguez to call out Truth. Ricardo actually did that and Miz attacked Truth, who then fought back and Miz ran away. They had a match two weeks later. Truth hit Miz with a jumping reverse STO to win the match. Few days later at Royal Rumble, Miz eliminated Truth and it was over between them.
