So I found a moment where I was able to play this, Prison of Husks, developed by Glass Head Dolls. Despite my initial frustrations with the controls, I've grown to really like this game;
I love the ps1 style graphics and although the demo is brief, it does give off this feel that is similar to the ps2 game ICO and it's sequel, Shadow of the colossus, in the sense that we are in an empty, almost dying world where human presence is scarce, the lack of any bgm amplifies this eerie feeling.

My biggest gripe would be the stamina system, maybe it's just me but I found myself very restricted with almost every action needing a third of your total stamina, maybe this is intentional and the devs want the player to be economical with their movements, though at times this can be a little too restrictive.

Though the demo is brief, I do like the fundamentals and look forward to the eventual full release.
