In this episode of the Plant, Pests, and Pathogens webinar series, Matt Bertone and Mike Munster of the NC State Extension Plant Disease and Insect Clinic explain some of the challenges associated with plants in the cypress family that are often planted for screening, including arborvitae (Thuja) and Leyland cypress. Mike opens the session with diagnostic tips for common, untreatable diseases such as Armillaria and Phytophthora root rots, as well as Seiridium and Botryosphaeria cankers.
