Phase 1: A typical dragon battle with a few differences. He has two abilities that make this fight unique, the first one is a vortex type of attack which he does roughly every minute. He will fly up into the air and basically bring you up there with him. . Also, keep in mind that your pet does despawn when you are caught in the vortex, so when he respawns when you land, you will have to FD to get aggro back onto your pet. . The last special ability he has in this stage are the power torrents, if you kill them, they explode on the ground and create a static field, if you stand in it, you get the 50% damage increase.

Phase 2: After Malygos is at 50% health, he will fly up into the air and summon adds to fight you. He summons 2 melee adds (Nexus Lords) and also 4 flying adds that use ranged attacks (Scions). Kill the Nexus Lords first and then target the scions.
