In this video we identify the broken part in the Hozelock Auto Reel 2590 which is preventing the brakes to be applied when you let go of the hose.

We also see the other side of the Autoreel with the rather large coiled spring mechanism and steps to fix it. For me personally, i just binned the item and purchased a newer version - Video coming soon....
