In this lesson, we talk about the Pomodoro technique. It's a technique that is based around the idea of having periods of intense focus followed by a short break in between.

If you have trouble with procrastination or endless meandering without reaching any goals when you practice, this technique can help.

Simply put, you have periods of about 25 minutes of intense focus without interruption followed by a short break of about 5 minutes. After 4 successful sessions you take a longer break. Rinse and repeat. If you complete the task before the time is up, you spend the rest of it reflecting and observing the work you've accomplished.

It's important to lay out a specific goal to accomplish. Don't be vague. The more specific, the more achievable it will be. Keep a log of the tasks you've accomplished and then you accumulate some useful data points to further improve your practice.
